Tablet of the Temple

A team of Israeli geologists asserts that the old inscription that details the plans for several reparations on Solomon's Temple, is genuine. The fragment is considered as of the period of king Joas, whose reign was 2.800 years ago.

The stone is written in the old hebrew language. Geological research supports that the stone comes from the place where the Temple of Solomon stood. This stone is the first material evidence of the existence of this temple mentioned in the Bible.

It was discovered during an archaeological investigation in a hill known by the Muslim people as "Haram as Sharif" and by the Jewish people as 'Mount of the Temple'.
